Scuba Diving, Snorkelling and WILD Swimming at St Abbs
From our base in St Abbs harbour we offer scuba diving in St Abbs & Eyemouth in the Berwickshire Marine Reserve as well as boat charters for sightseeing, snorkelling and open water swimming. You can also learn to dive with St Abbs Charters.
Scuba diving St Abbs
We are experienced divers ourselves and offer a regular schedule of diving on our boat Stingray from St Abbs Harbour. Come and experience the spectacular scenery and dive sites for all diving abilities in and around St Abbs Head and Eyemouth. Prices start from £55pp for 2 dives.
We also offer air fills and have a range of scuba diving kit for hire.
SNORKELLING EXPERIENCES
The rugged coastline of St Abbs head makes a stunning place to snorkel in the clear waters of the Berwickshire Marine Reserve with Stingray providing safety cover. For those looking for their next snorkelling adventure we offer snorkelling boat trips around St Abbs Head between June-October. For those new to snorkelling we also offer introduction to snorkelling session at the beautiful Coldingham Beach with a qualified snorkel instructor. Prices start from £40pp
We also have a full range of snorkelling wetsuits, find, mask, snorkels for hire which can be hired for your own snorkelling adventure
SWIMMING EXPERIENCES
The rugged coastline of St Abbs head makes a stunning place to wild swim and snorkel with Stingray providing safety cover. Sally is an experienced snorkeller, dive instructor and open water swimming coach and will accompany you on our trip. We also offer open water swimming coaching. Prices start from £35pp.
We also have a full range of swimming wetsuits and other swim kit which can be hired.
WILDLIFE TOURS
We offer wildlife tours from Stingray around St Abbs Head where the cliffs are covered in seabirds, particularly between April and July. Here you will see guillemots, razorbills, gannets and the occasional puffin. There is also regular sightings of seals, dolphins and even the occasional minke whale. We have a regular Wildlife Wednesday tour but please contact us for other dates or bespoke trips.

DIVE
We are both BSAC instructors and St Abbs Charters is a BSAC Dive Centre. Danny is also an instructor with PADI and TDI/SDI and we can teach from beginners to more technical courses.

If you are looking to get into open water swimming or want to improve your open water swimming skills we offer scheduled coaching sessions or bespoke individual sessions.
Kit hire and
servicing
We have a range of diving,swimming & snorkelling equipment for hire and we can do emergency repairs or regular maintenance of your diving regulators.
Accommodation
We have two B&B rooms at Melrose House, Coldingham. There are two twin rooms which share a bathroom. Price includes a hot breakfast. takeaway.
